Located within Betws-y-Coed, this bridge built in 1930 is a must see attraction for the local town.
Originally built in WW1 to assist the local soldiers stationed near Betws-y-Coed, the bridge was eventually upgraded to the marvel you see today. It has stood over the river Conwy for over 90 years and is a magnificent work of engineering to behold.
The entrance to the bridge is a little tucked away, but if you head over to St Michael’s Old Church (Also well worth a visit!) – you should be able to find it just next to the entrance.
The bridge can be a little wobbly but the views as you cross make it well worth it! I’m sure this would be a great spot for a picnic or just to take in the sights and have a rest from all the walks in the local area.
From here, you can continue on to discover other walking trails or turn back and have a explore the local town and all its hidden gems!
If our enchanting cottages and picturesque surroundings have captured your imagination, why wait? Book your stay now and indulge in the cozy comforts and serene beauty that await you.
We can’t wait to welcome you to your perfect getaway.
